I am an assistant professor in the Computer Science Division, School of Computing, The University of Southern Mississippi. I recieved my B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics from Shandong University and my M.S. and Ph.D in Computer Science from University of California, Irvine. My advisor in mathematics was Guizhen Liu, and in computer science Michael T. Goodrich.
My research interest is to design efficient algorithms and data structures for solving problems motivated from security, geometry, and biology, using mainly discrete and combinatorial methods.
I live with my wife Kebin and our two angels Michelle and Gabrielle. I love delicious food from ALL nations. I DO practise jogging, hiking, swimming, bicycling, or soccer once every couple of weeks or months.
I believe in the existence of God and eternal life. Jesus Christ is my personal savior. I invite you to check out Hans Bodlaender's religious writings.
